Honeysuckle:
the joy of a flower of love
Summer
pleasures
Camille Goutal strolls through her family garden in the French Provence
region. She remembers weaving crowns of honeysuckle with her thirteen
cousins, when they pretended they were princesses. The sun, the
sound of children's laughter, and that scent, so captivating...
Not so long ago. Today, with the knowing help of Isabelle Doyen,
the Brand's perfumemaker of yesterday and tomorrow, Camille Goutal
recreates this tenderness and carefree ambience with Le
Chèvrefeuille, a new single-flower fragrance that
follows Le Muguet and La
Violette.
Secrets
revealed
The honeysuckle blossom has a smooth, honey-touched scent. It is
subtly transformed by the fragrance of its vine, which adds a green,
fresh, herbaceous note. And then... notes plucked from wild narcissus,
the first spring flower in the mountains, a hint of jasmine and
lemon tree petit grain, the tiny bud that grows into a lemon. Freshness
and sun, flower and fruit... contrasts that create harmony.
Symbol
of eternal love
Heloïse and Abelard love each other with a passionate but impossible
love. The letters they exchange are masterpieces of romantic poetry.
In the garden where they lie in eternal rest, it is said that a
honeysuckle plant sprang up between them. Ever since then, the plant
has become the symbol of passion that knows no obstacles.
Fidelity
Honeysuckle creepers entwined to infinity, just like the ivy so
present in the creations of Annick Goutal Parfums. Encaptured by
the scent of plants, Annick Goutal chose a crown of ivy -the symbol
of fidelity and attachment- to adorn her bottles.
Le
Chèvrefeuille, a joyful, transparent fragrance that
rings out like the first days of spring. As a limited edition, it
is all the more precious...
